Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to low fasting glucose (hypoglycemia) or low blood pressure.

The sweating is related to autonomic nervous system activation. That is why it is necessary performing further tests to investigate for the possible underlying causes.

I recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing these tests:

- a resting ECG
- a complete blood count for anemia
- blood fasting glucose
- glucose tolerance test
- thyroid hormone levels for possible dysfunction
- a Head Up Tilt test to exclude possible orthostatic intolerance.
- cortisol plasma levels for possible adrenal gland dysfunction.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the additional information.

Coming to this point, I would recommend performing a Head Up Tilt test for possible orthostatic intolerance and a cervical spine x-ray study for possible chronic degeration of the cervical column.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best wishes,

Dr. Iliri
