Brief Answer:
it is treated witha proton pump inhibotor and prokinetic agent

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for putting your query in HealthcareMagic. I am a Gastroenterologist.

There are two types of hernia. Small or large. Small are less than 3cm and large are more than 3cm. Most of the time these hernias are asymptomatic. If they are symptomatic especially large ones them they are treated with a proton pump inhibitor like pantaprazole as you are taking along with a prokinetic agent like domperidone once or twice a day depending on the severity of symptoms. If the symptoms could not be controlled by medicines alone then surgical managent is advised which is fundoplication which can be done laproscopically.

I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. Wish you agood health.
