Suggest Treatment For Epididymitis

Question: I have epididymitis caused by a cyst it in one of the tubes. I had 2 ultra sounds a year apart nothing showed up and the second 1 showed something both visits to 2 different doctors told me what I had. I was given antibiotics for 7 or 10 days and nothing. they are sore at random times daily.
what I got out of the doc was I just pretty much deal with it
is this the case?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.

You may have chronic or recurrent epididymitis and cyst may be a predisposing factor.
This may be very difficult to diagnose and ultrasound may not be accurate enough.

So it would be good to do MRI of testicles or scintigraphy.
It will show us the possible location of the inflammation.

If there is chronic epididymitis then the longer course of antibiotics may be required and in some cases, surgical excision of the cyst may be a permanent solution.
It would be also good to do a complete STD-panel testing.
