Brief Answer:
Please elucidate more.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and tried to understand the point you wanted to say.

Noted that you had cyst of epididymis on the left, the Surgeon marked on the left, you underwent the procedure and on returning home the incision if on the right side.
Please specify your point so that I can assist you further.

My thoughts and possibility:
Many a surgeon like to operate through mid-line so that the access to both the sides can be done so easily. Due to edema on the operated site the incision may falsely appear on the opposite side.

Your Query:
**can you tell me if testicles are connected in some way that pain and swelling on left side can be transmitted from problem on right side...
Please elucidate...

I hope this answer helps, let us continue discussion after your feedback.

The discharge paper states, left hydrocele procedure and testicle exploration,he has absorbable sutures in situ, the pre op paperwork states, excision left epididimus cyst, hydrocele procedure, which is making me think that they operated on wrong testicle

Brief Answer:
is the incision in the center?

Detailed Answer:
If the pre-op and post papers say left side operated, then it must be.
Where is the incision, is this in the center? Please upload photos and relevant reports.

Brief Answer:
Talk to your Operating Surgeon.

Detailed Answer:
In such a case only your operating surgeon can tell you what exactly was done and why...
When is your review with the operating Surgeon?
And let me know his opinion, reasoning and all.
Take care.
