Question: I have been using fluorine lone acetonide oil .01% for sometime for eczema in ear but it still has not cleared up and continues to itch. Do you have any suggestions?

Fluocinolone acetonide is a corticosteroid primarily used in dermatology to reduce skin inflammation and relieve itching as in eczema. But you also need to apply some moisturizing lotion like aloe vera or Cetaphil lotion. Prevent dry skin by taking short, lukewarm showers or baths. Use a mild soap or body cleanser. I would also suggest taking some antiallergic like cetirizine once daily.

Eczema can often be hard to get rid of. Avoid wearing tight-fitting, rough, or scratchy clothing. Avoid scratching the rash. Avoid physical and mental stress. Eating right, light activity, and adequate sleep are also essential.
