Brief Answer:
The pain may be due to wax

Detailed Answer:
Hello

The pain can be due to impacted wax and in such a situation I would normally advice wax solving drops like aaudisol or otorex 3 drops 4 to 5 times a day . In some cases the doctor may need to remove the wax by irrigating the ear with normal saline.

A second reason for the pain and itching may be a fungal infection of the ear called otomycosis. For such patients I would normally advice antifungal drops like clotrimazole 2 drops 5 to 6 times a day.

For the pain you can give her syrup paracetamol 2 teaspoon 3 times a day.

The best thing would be to meet your ent doctor and get her checked so that the correct treatment can be started

Take care

Brief Answer:
You will need to meet a ent doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hello

A picture of inside the ear is difficult to get using conventional cameras and the best thing would be to meet an ent doctor

There are devices called as otoendoscopes which can take photos of inside the ear.

Hope the pain has reduced

Brief Answer:
The dose is 15mg/ kg per dose

Detailed Answer:
Hello

For the correct dose I would need to know the weight. otherwise you can calculate it as 15 mg / kg per dose. You can give 3 times a day.

Paracetamol would have reduced the pain and therefore she could sleep

If the pain has reduced and she does not have ear discharge or reduced hearing, then you may not need to visit an ent ddoctor.

Take care
