Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough

Question: Good afternoon, Have had a dry cough since Xmas after going through a viral infection (flu like). Cough has got a lot better, almost gone completely now. 2 days ago I had a chest x-ray taken, copy of which I can provide to you; I would basically like a 2nd opinion. (I have not been contacted yet by the referring gp by the way)
