Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough

Question: Hello Doc, I have dry cough for almost a week now. to start with I had cold cough and fever but its come down to just cough. I've been taking benedryl for dry cough syrup its helped to a certain extent but has not been able to cure completely.

Dry cough post viral infection is very common.
Infact it persists for long many times.
Don't worry.
Stop taking Benadryl or any cough syrup.
Simply start on a combination of Levocetrizine and Montelukast like LCZ-Mont once daily in night.
Take it for a week.
Even if after a week your cough persists, write back again.
