Question: Respected dr,I am diabetic patient past 14years,now I am suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy,LVef25.if it possible to cure with the treatment of EECP?please save of my life.I am 51years male patient.I am insulin defendant patient.

I think I will be able to help you.

The EECP is a relatively new technique that is now being used for heart failure. It helps by contraction of the muscles that by mechanisms unknown stimulates the contractility of the heart as well.

I feel the machine will help you.

However the process of DCMP is a continuous one. So EECP will help you but it will only slow down the process. I cannot exactly say how much it will slow down the process because that is dependant and varies from person to person.

As for the second therapy, the ayurveda claims have not been substantiated, but its a system of medicine and there is no harm in trying it.
