Brief Answer:
Relevant information provided.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your query and concern.

Normally the disease course starts with muscular symptoms followed by skin involvement as in your sister's case.

The disease is not curable, but treatments do exist.

Regular MRI ,Ultrasonography ,chest X-ray and blood workup is needed for the first 3 years of disease to screen for malignancy and disease course.

Steroid supplementation with immunomodulatory drugs is promising in treating the disease condition.Pain relief occurs after 4-6 weeks of treatment.

Resistance training and aerobic exercise may also be beneficial for muscle involvement, especially if instituted early.

Sun avoidance and sun protection measures are recommended in case of skin lesions.

A well balanced high protein diet is needed.

You can consult the following doctor for expert management.

Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX SADHANANDHAM.
Consultant Rheumatologist
C1 KTVR APARTMENT KARUPAKKAL LAYOUT,
PN PALAYAM. XXXXXXX

I advise you to go for Allopathic treatment.
