Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Please do mind relaxation exercises every day for 30 minutes and stop worrying. You can take the services of a mental health professional to guide you through your present situation. Avoid staying alone and always put your mind in doing some kind of productive work. Never think about quitting your job.

I am very attached to food. I can eat in moderation but I am thinking that I have to give up my favorite food due to diabetes. That is the thing causing butn out. I went to therapy for months but didnt help. That was a waste of money.

Brief Answer:
There are a lot of choices you can make concerning foods

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

Your attachment to food is understood and even I would have reacted similarly had I been in your situation. It is possible that the therapy sessions you attended were passive in nature and limited your participation when making choices concerning foods.

Going a little more in detail, you can live life and eat healthy as much even with diabetes. I recommend you the link of XXXXXXX Diabetes Association and you can read for yourself and then decide the foods that you like to include in your daily diets. You can also constantly change your foods and try out new dishes as per your liking.

Please read the foods which are beneficial for you from the link provided below

There is no reason to feeling burnt out and planning to leave your job. There is a wonderful life ahead.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
