The question I have not asked out of fear is ------will I then be able to drive with appropriate cameras to make up for lack of ability t turn neck,.
I got up in my sleep and woke up as falling backwards hitting back of head on 2 +" solid wooden door.
Brief Answer:
With physiotherapy you can get good neck movements
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir,
Fracture you are talking is called dens fracture. If it is completely healed then you can start physiotherapy. You will get good movement of neck. And you will be able to drive.
You can consult your doctor for how long you need to wear brace. I usually remove brace after 6 months . As You are having osteoporosis, you should keep it for 3 more months.
I did not get second part of your question. Did you fell after surgery? If yes, then you should get your x ray done.
I hope I had answer your query. Let me know if I missed some thing.
