Brief Answer:
She does not seem to have dengue

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through the details and the reports carefully and understand your concern. The fact that the NS1 and IgM are negative indicate that she does NOT have a current episode of dengue. The fact that she has IgM somehow positive indicates that she might have suffered from dengue sometime in the past. Irrespective of treatment such viral infections usually spontaneously resolve in 5-7 days.

Let me mention that dengue is a type of viral infection. You need not be alarmed about dengue.

Moreover, the presence of a cough makes dengue relatively unlikely.

Nevertheless, you can feel free to get him tested. The primary concern about dengue is because a very small percentage of the affected individuals may develop dengue shock syndrome (DSS) where fluid moves out of the blood vessels and unless that fluids are replaced (by drinking plenty of ORS, water or through IV fluids) vascular collapse and therefore shock may result. But even in case of DSS, all that needs to be done is to ensure a good hydration, nothing more. So, you need not panic about dengue. Just give her plenty of fluids to drink.

If your child has a fever with temperature more than 100°F, you need to give paracetamol (P-250, Crocin or Calpol) to it bring down. Also, use tepid sponging. If paracetamol is not effective in bringing down the temperature, you need to use Meftal-P (Mefenamic acid) which is more effective.

Please be patient. Feel free to ask me back if you have any further queries.

Regards
