Question: My daughter who is almost three and beginning potty training has not had a bowel movement in 6 days.
Severe abd. pain. Took to doc Ned they put her on miralax and exalt chews. No results. Do not want to take her back there. Baby cried all day. What can I do?

I suggest you use Lactulose

Hi.... the Miralax which you have used contains polyethylene glycol. It will take some time to work. If you want immediate results to relieve the pain in the tummy you can use lactulose. This works faster and later on polyethylene glycol will take over the smooth functioning.

I suggest that you use lactulose syrup 20 ml twice a day for a week this will start the bubble movement.

But in some countries this is a prescription drug and you will need a doctor's prescription for this.
