Brief Answer:
few possible causes

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.

Well, further evaluation is required. It is common but nonspecific symptoms. It indicates that there is some disorder of rotatory manchete of shoulder or arthritis of joint. Commonly in this age we see shoulder tendons calcifications and these can be seen on simple x-rays. It is treated with immobilisation and anti-inflammatory medicines. But I suggest to do mri scan which will reveal more detailed disorder s. Then further treatment can be planned. Till that, try to rest, take ibuprofen 2x400mg, local analgetic gels and consult orthopedic for adequate physical therapy.wish you good health.
