Brief Answer:
Steam inhalation would provide relief.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Most often such symptoms occur due to certain viral infections. Some children are more prone to catching such infections. Otrivin is a good nasal decongestant which has been rightly given. However, I would strongly insist you to give steam inhalation. Just sit with the child on your lap and place the source of steam before you. Water vapor will be in the air and automatically the child will breathe it in. This will help in diluting the cough and would provide relief.

I would insist you to give cetirizine once daily and also crocin as required. No other medicine needs to be given. Be patient as it may last for a week or so irrespective of what you do.

Regards
