Brief Answer:
You can give sinarest

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for asking on this platform

You can give sinarest for fever and cold. Most common cause of fever, cold in this age is some viral infection. This improves with symptomatic treatment only.
Sinarest contains paracetamol(helps in decreasing temperature), chlorpheniramine an anti allergic, phenylephrine a decongestant and sodium citrate which helps in thinning of mucus.
The dose for this age is 2.5 ml three times a day.
Watch for symptoms like increased heart rate, flushing, sweating, irritability, vomiting or any abnormal movement.Although these side effects are very uncommon but can be there even with normal dosing. If you notice any, hold the medicine and please contact your pediatrician immediately.

I hope this helps.
I shall be glad to help you out if you need any.

Brief Answer:
It may take 3-5 days for the fever to subside completely

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for follow up

During viral illness fever may be high with increased number of spikes in initial 2-3 days. Fever usually shows a declining trend after 72 hours.
I would like to know the strength of crocin which you are using currently(whether 120 or 250 per 5 ml). The dose of paracetamol is usually 15 mg/kg/dose and it can be given 6 hourly.
The sinarest syrup also contains paracetamol (125 mg/5ml)so if you are giving sinarest then the dose of crocin needs to be adjusted accordingly.
I would request you to better get it prescribed by a pediatrician before using medicines as if it is underdosed then you may not find the result.
Monitor the temperature (oral or armpit) and don't get worried if the thermometer shows normal temperature and you find her head warm.
If fever persists for more than 72 hours with same severity she may need some blood investigations and antibiotic depending on the report.

Regards
