Brief Answer:
yes no problem

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Usually cold and cough may last in babies for one to two weeks.
If prolonged it could be Bronchiolitis, that could be the reason your doctor has prescribed atarax and ascoril.
They are safe and help in decreasing symptoms.
Don't worry.
Follow your doctors advice.
If still not improving consult with him again and enquire if nebulisations with saline would help.
Many times at this age saline nebulisations will help to improve faster.
Wishing your child good health.
Regards
Dr Arun

not at home

Nebulisations should preferably done at hospital or clinic.
Avoid at home. It is not recommended.
Continue medicines for the duration your doctor has prescribed.
Enquire with him about nebulisations at his hospital.
