Brief Answer:
Safe for use

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.

The mentioned medications are safe to be given. The allergy to Novamox will not matter. Give crocin as per requirement. Also give tepid sponging.

Hi There,

During a regular check up of my daughter, Doctor suggested for a couple of optional vaccines. Would like to know if they are mandatory and useful?
1) Meningococcal
2) Pneumococcal 13 valent

All regular vaccines are given as per schedule and we could not find these with our earlier pediatrician's chart. We started visiting new hospital and their chart contains these.

They are quite costly as well. 8500/-.

Please advise.

Brief Answer:
Whatever you decide, is fine.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking back once again. Although mentioned on the immunisation schedule of that hospital, as mentioned, these are optional vaccines and the choice of giving these vaccines lies upon you. These vaccines protect the child against some major diseases and so it might be worth administering them to your child. However, this does not mean that not administering them would make your child essentially suffer from these diseases.

The choice lies upon you. I understand that the vaccines are costly.

Regards
