Suggest Treatment For Cold And Blocked Nose During Pregnancy

Question: My wife is pregnant & suffering from cold. Both the nostrils are mostly blocked & suffering for a month now. Please advise if we can use any nasal drop for immidiate relief & any safe medicne also for permanent relief.

Request urgent help please.

I have read your query, reviewed your wife medications and understand your concern.

If I were your treating Doctor for this case, I would advice you
Steam Inhalation twice daily by steam vaporisor &
Saline nasal spray thrice daily like Solspre 3 puff each nostril 4 times daily .

Continue Iron tablet, Susten & Celin.

Don't use Decongestant nose drop, they are habit forming & further increase nose block after initial relief.

Cold is common in pregnancy due hormonal imbalance. It will subsides as pregnancy progress .
