Brief Answer:
Eustachian tube dysfunction, requires audiometry, nasal endoscopy.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any associated nasal block or head-ache ?
Is your ear blockage associated with throat pain ?

Kindly get back to me with details.

As per your clinical details, ear blockage with decreased hearing could be due to-

Eustachian tube block (tube connecting middle ear and nose) secondary to sinusitis, polyp(allergy )or tonsillitis.

I suggest you to consult an ENT surgeon and get detailed ENT examination, otoscopy, audiometry (to know the status of ear drum and Eustachian tube) and nasal endoscopy, blood tests (sinusitis, allergy).Treatment can be started according to the investigations.

I also advise you to do steam inhalation, do valsalva maneuver (to watch you tube for video).

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
