Suggest Treatment For Chronic Stabbing Left-sided Shoulder Pain

default
Posted on Mon, 8 Feb 2016
Question: I have had stabbing left shoulder pain for about 12 years. It hurts most with repetitive motion (i.e.vacuuming). I have tried everything..MRI, XRAY, PT, Acupuncture, massage, Yoga, cortisone shot in trapizus muscles, chiro...i mean everything....to my neck and shoulders. Today i took a picture of my back...all this time my pain has been in the shoulder and trapizious area, i think it may have been referred pain. What is this on the left of my spine? Im scared. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
I think you are having shoulder dyskinesia

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think your pain is due to shoulder dyskinesia. This causes pain due to movements. You have tried most of the treatment but best method is physiotherapy. Physiotherapy should be focused on shoulder dyskinesia.
This physiotherapy needs to be continued for six months.
Apart from that you should avoid sudden bending, sleeping on that side.
Muscle relaxant like Myoril or Myospaz can be taken for five to six days. These steps will be helpful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
