Suggest Treatment For Chronic Pain And Fibromyalgia
Question: Have chronic pain from DDD and fybromyalgia. I still work. I own a house cleaning business. I limit my houses to my energy and pain level. The work does help keep me XXXXXXX if i don't over do it. I take 900mg gabs at night. 5/325 oxycode in the morning then 60mg dulocetine about 9am. In the afternoon the pain in my hips and legs puts me to tears. I have .5mg clozepam for anxiety as needed. I also have 12cr zolpiderm to help with sleep. In wondering if changing the times I take certain meds could help with the severe pain in the afternoon. In trying to be very responsible with my treatment. Ive had 4 traumatic car accidents with neck injuries I believe may be the cause for the fybro. I don't know if I should ask my doctor to up the mg on the oxycode or ive wondered if demerol in the afternoon when the pain is the worst could help. That's what the gave me when I got whiplashes the first time. Im45 female. No other problems. Heart disease, diabetes, highblood pressure etc. Please, any suggestions are wecome

Hello, I have studied your case and I think your pain is due to hard work you are doing. Your present medication are centrally acting and there is chances of addiction in these. So I would not recommend you to increase doses of oxycodone. I would rather suggest you to take tablet Etoricoxib 90 mg on whenever required basis. So when there is pain you can take it and you will feel better in 30 minutes. Other advantage is that there is no side effects. You can safely take it for months.
