Question: How do you best treat chronic fatigue ?
I was agnosed by MD clinc where they charge a fortune to be a patient and sell their expensive supplements.

Blood work indicates I have hvv6 titters elevated , hypothyroid and physical symptoms of adrenal fatigue...
I have reoccurring flu like symptoms and take antiviral acyclovir when I'm run down and this occurs. I've taken every supplement you can imagine...
And at end of my patience. I now have skin eruptions - scratch like pin head scabs appearing ... What next?
I've ordered 24 mushroom powder blend which I hear can help me...
I'm trying to avoid stress... I'm hoping you might help. No doctor in USA except this expensive clinic called Holtorf clinic even acknowledges CFS

Brief Answer:
CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome)

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
CBT and graded exercise therapy (GET) have been found to be the only beneficial interventions in CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) .

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that can help you manage CFS by changing the way you think and behave.

GET is based on the model of deconditioning and exercise intolerance and usually involves a home exercise program that continues for 3–5 months. Walking or cycling is systematically increased, with set target heart rates

CBT is generally the more complex treatment, which might explain why CBT studies tend to yield better improvement rates than GET trials.

Not all patients benefit from CBT or GET.

Controlled therapeutic trials have established that acyclovir, fludrocortisone, galantamine, modafinil, and IV immunoglobulin, among other agents, offer no significant benefit in CFS.
Countless anecdotes circulate regarding other traditional and nontraditional therapies. It is important to guide patients away from those therapeutic modalities that are toxic, expensive, or unreasonable.

So avoid mushroom powder blend, acyclovir etc.
Stress management is more important.

Skin eruptions should be handled by dermatologist. I see you are already in discussion with dermatologist on this platform.
