Brief Answer:
Various suggestions for your condition.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the chicken pox and psoriasis occurring in last couple of weeks.

After analyzing your complete history along with pictures let me tell you that I agree with your treating doctor that the lesions of psoriasis are recurring.

It is due to the fact that in psoriasis it is common to recur back at the areas of injury or inflammation. In chicken pox the skin gets inflamed and therefore it triggers the formation of lesions of psoriasis.

In such kind of cases application of a topical steroid is quite important. In my patients with such kind of condition I prefer to apply Clobetasol or betamethasone cream over affected areas. I prefer to apply it for 7 days of time. In case of severe itching I prefer to give Des-Loratadine for 3 times in day and one levo-cetrizine at night time.

An emollient lotion with good hydration property can be used for multiple times a day.

Kindly follow the suggestion below:

- Keep yourself away from hot and humid climate.

- Wear cotton clothes and cotton undergarments to be changed two times a day.

- Do not wear any synthetic clothes.

- Take bath two to three times a day.

-Don't try to scratch or rub the area as it can lead to further aggravation of the problem.

I hope this information will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.

"Wish you good health and early recovery from the problem"
