Brief Answer:
You need muscle relaxant

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. You are having cervical spondylitis with muscle spasm. Physiotherapist are not authorized to give medication. So I would suggest you to avoid taking tablets on their recommendation. I have following advise for you.
1.Meet a orthoapedic doctor and get x ray of the neck. It will confirm if there is any bony abnormality.
2.Avoid keeping neck in same position for long time like watching TV or laptop.
3.Tablet Myospaz or Myoril twice daily will relax your muscles.
4.Hot water fomentation and volin ointment will be useful.
5.You need to take physiotherapy in form of intermittent cervical traction exercises.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
