Suggest Treatment For Calcification In The Right Breast

default
Posted on Mon, 27 Jun 2016
Question: I have a lot of calcification in my right breast, which I have had for 7 years, and after the last try at a mammogram, and ultra sound, it was so dense they couldn't get a reading, and they said there wouldn't be a need to try again. My nipple is inverted, and for apx the last week, it has been bleeding once in awhile. I'm 85 yrs old - it also itches a lot. Don't know exactly where to go with this at my age.

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. You require certain investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the details. As you have califications and the mammogram and ultrasound are not readable, I will advise you to undergo MRI of the breast.
As the nipple is inverted and you have bloody discharge, both these signs are pathological and needs investigation in the form of MRI.
Thanks and regards
