Suggest Treatment For Bumps In The Groin Area

default
Posted on Mon, 27 Mar 2017
Question: I have smooth pearly ( some in patches & some alone) tiny bumps in my groin area. No itching, burning, or redness. Im positive ive had most for 6-7 years. Never took a close look, because no irritation & im a large man 6' 295 just assumed they were skin tags. My wife was in that area of my body a couple weeks ago & the lights were on & brighter than usual. She noticed them, with a little shock. She has no signs of anything. I have not been with another women in 11 years. Ive been driving myself crazy trying to figure this out on the internet with google. They do turn white with apple cider vinegar. I have no insurance at the moment. Do you think you can help shine some light, please? I have 3 kids, im deathly afraid of spreading it to them.

Brief Answer:
Seems to be molluscum, upload pictures

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have gone through your complaints and it seems to be molluscum contagiosum which is a viral infection.
I would recommend you to upload the pictures of the affected areas so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs and it looks like pyoderma with secondary eczematisation of the skin.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply a steroid antibiotic combination like cortisone cream and neosporin ointment on the affected areas twice daily for 10-14 days.
This should help in resolving it.
Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
