default
Posted on Sat, 2 May 2015
Question: Two weeks ago I fell really hard after slipping on a wet towel on the floor. My right hand was bruised, I injured my back and chest severely. My chest hurts when I walk and my back hurts all the time. I can't see a doctor due to the fact every bounce in the car is too painful. I am 87 but look much younger but doesn't help the pain! Will this damage heal in time?

Brief Answer:
rule out bone injuries. take painkillers

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX, welcome to HCM and thanks for choosing us.

I understand your concerns and your pain. Your pain will go with time if there's no bone injuries. Bone injuries are suspected when pain is very severe (intolerable), huge swelling than expected, difficulty in movements. So if you have any of these, you will require a doctor's (orthopaedic expert) opinion. You need to rule out the bone fractures. If you can't visit a doctor, you can request a home visit.

However if you don't have these findings, you will be fine in 2 to 3 weeks. Take painkillers.
