Bleeding from rectum can be a horrifying experience. But the most common cause of rectal bleeding is piles, and also anal fissure. Nobody dies of these illnesses.

There are other serious causes like colon or rectal cancer but these are also treatable.

What you need is to go to a doctor, get a rectal exam and blood tests done. some meds to stop the bleeding. And further tests if required. It can surely be treated.
