Suggest Treatment For Bipolar Disorder

Question: Hi, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder about 3 months, I have been on a few meds. The first med, lithium, had me spaced out!! I could not function. My daughter called and of course. When she saw me, she immediately ordered a lithium level. This a veterans clinic. Labs are drawn there but they are not immediately processed. I don't know what the level nor do I know what dose I was on. That experience was a blur. I told her that I did not want to be on the lithium. The next med, Geodon, I cannot remember what reaction was but the doctor took me off that medicine. The next med was Depokote . She stared off

You are having bipolar disorder and currently on depakote 500 mg.Lithium and geodone did not suit you.You have been prescribed depakote. It is good to start with low dose and gradually increased according to response and tolerability.
