Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Radiating To Abdomen
I have been experiencing lower back pain, while bending over, mostly from vacuuming floors, the pain then kind of radiated toward the front of my lower abdomen. The pain as subsided a little, but is still there if I bend over. The strangest part is I need to pee a lot now, no burning or pain, just frequent urination.

Hi,
You are reporting to have:
- lower back pain (while bending over)
- pain radiating toward the front of my lower abdomen
- pain being subsided a little
Can you please refer for how long have you been having such pain?
From what you are saying, I think it is an acute pain due to sudden stretching of muscles when bending over. This is temporary, that's why it is being subsided a little until now.
You can take oral pain-killers (e.g. ibuprofen) and apply warm compresses and analgesic cream locally to subside the pain.
Furthermore, you are also referring to have the need to pee a lot now. There are 2 main explanations for this:
- fear/anxiety you might have experienced while feeling such lower back pain
- innervation effects of sudden pain after bending over
Take chamomile tea, and avoid caffeinated drinks for a few days. If no improvement, then, further evaluations should be carried out to rule out organic problems.
All the best!

Hi back,
Thank you for providing the requested information.
From what you are referring, the urge to pee could be related to stress undergone when bending over and pulled muscles.
I still think you need a few more days for the symptoms to subside. Try Kegel's exercise to support the function of the pelvic muscles. Go to toilet each time you feel the need, do not delay. Keep good genital hygiene. Can try cranberry or uva-ursi tea to improve your symptoms.
If the urge to pee will persist for a few more days, then, should send your urine for urine analysis and run an abdominal ultrasound to evaluate the status of the urinary pathways.
Hope it helped!
