I am XXXX

I have been suffered by arthritis very badly and now I am fit but due to arthritis my leg mussels ( behind the knee ) was badly stiffed. At 90 degrees so I can't sttech my legs straight
My physio advice yo me to exercise .

Now please tell me any other way so that I can quickly unwind my legs

I suggest you the following-

1.Keep your body weight as per your height
2.Regular excercises
3.Eat healthy food
4.Start doing warm fomentation with rubber bag over knee for at least 3 times a day.

As far as excercises for knee is concern,simple knee bending and straightening can be done while sitting on chair and hold the leg for few second's .This can be done easily anywhere like while watching Television or in office.
Try to avoid sitting on floor in cross leg or squat position for long duration.
You can have nutrition supplements for joint"s like Glucosamine(nutralite),they also help. If required pain killer on sos basis.

You can take muscle relaxant tablets to reduce the stiffness after consulting your doctor.

Now I would ask you some more thing that
How long glucosamine capsules can be taken and its daily dose
And can I take nimesulide muscle relaxant, how long I can take this an its daily dose
Can you suggest me any topical ontinment that can help me to reduce muscle stiffness


My height is 5 feet 10 inch
Body weight is 50 kg
And i am allergic to pencilen

Sir if u give me an advice I always be thankful to you

Thanks for your query again.

Daily dose of glucosamine is 1500mg. It can be taken upto 3 years.

Nimesulide is not a muscle relaxant. You can take it on sos basis(as and when required) after food for pain.

You can apply Systaflam gel or Dynapar QPS spray locally to reduce pain and muscle stiffness.
