Question: Hello I had a mammogram three months ago, but because I have a port and have had six. The tech doing my test tried to do it without hurting my port. Last week, I found a lump near my left armpit and it is feeling bigger. I'm not worried I guess, because it's not in the "Breast" but beside it and even moving up my shoulder some. It's solid, size of a small plum, but is starting to hurt. I don't know what kind of doctor to consult with. Being a nurse you would think I would know, but I don't. I have Porphyria so I get nauseous now and then, however I am now I having severe nausea and vertigo. I know that's to much info, but thought I would ask. Thanks! XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
You require a biopsy of the lump

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. You have to consult a surgeon for biopsy of the lump as it may be a recurrence of the disease. You can start pain killers like tylenol for pain
Biopsy is a must. If it turn out to be positive then a PETCT or ct scan will be required to see the extent of disease.
