Question: I am having pains in my lower right side. They have been happening since right after Thanksgiving. Thought of appendix but it has been a long time. Can you help me , please? My e-mail is : YYYY@YYYY

I read your question and i understand your concern. Pain in right lower quadrant ruled out for appendicitis should be looked for other causes. UTIs or kidney stones may present with this pain. This pain could be musculoskeletal . Abdominal pain may be due to bowel origin like constipation, decreased bowel motility or IBS etc.
Nutshell there is a long list of possibilities that can cause pain in right lower quadrant of abdomen and should be evaluates and worked up for. Meanwhile take some advil and see if it helps.
