Question: Hello Doctor,

Good Morning,

once again i am here to ask few queries. i am on daxid 150 mg, maxmala 50 mg and luramax 20 mg. feeling good but not better because of no physical appetite but i eat, second thing, speech problem has become worse. doctor prescribed me daxid 200 mg but i am taking 150 mg(50mg in morning+ 100 mg in night with maxmala and luramax 20 mg). Because after taking 200 mg(100 in morning a and 100 in night), it observed, that speech is totally stopped. not able to talk anyone, means totally dumb. and more anxious if not able to speak. but after taking 150 mg, able to speak bit but not completely.

1. Why it does happen after taking high dose of daxid or any any-depressants?
2. i am on daxid on 8 months, but my speech not improved. but my doctor is saying this medicine is very good in eating disorder, ocd, and stammering. but i am not able to speak.
3. my job is always in risk because of not able to speak. what i do? should i change doctor or medicines?
4. in 8 months, speech and physical appitite not improved but yes craving and heaviness reduced. now should i stop the medicines, or change the medicines, reduce the medicines or change the doctor?
5. is this not that because of higher dosage of anti-depressents cause severe stammering?
6. i met 2-3 speech therapist and they told me that i have severe stuttering. so now what i should do?
7. how much time a psychiatrist take to give one type of medicines for patient?
8. if i feel, that daxid did good for me but my speech totally went. I don’t like to speak and talk to people? how much time i should give more to daxid.
9. i am taking antidepressants for last so many year, but now dont want more. What i should do?
10. is this not, i am taking still higher dose of daxid?
11. one thing more, i dont show any interest or having interest in job or career and always waste or pass time on Facebook, internet surfing or watching tv for many hours upto 4-6 hours, reading newspaper whole the day and for so many years. so i want to know, that because of this anxiety stress issue, this is happening or am i in wrong job or field?
12. my speech is not coming from inside, because of this i am not talking to anyone and not going here and there and waiting for speech to come out. but i think after taking anti-depressants, it is not coming and will not come out? what i should do?
13. today scene is that, to whom i was taking in past, today i am not able to talk because of this speech issue and get irritate so much? what i do?
14. really antidepressents works in stammering or am i wasting money and time on doctors and medicines?
15. how much time i should give more to stop this medicines completely because physical appitite and speech never improved, but craving, thoughts, heaviness reduced. i dont want dependent on this medicines whole life. because some people say, if anyone started one this anti-depressents, then whole life we will get addicted for this.
16. i was able to speak very fluent when i was 18-19, but at age of 21, speech was totally stopped because of anxiety. so will i be able to speak again in a same way today on behalf of anti-depressents or this is myth? or i should go to speech therapist for this?
17. at the age of 30, my speech is better than today because i gave interviews in few companies on phone and got selected but todays, i am not able to speak even a complete sentence? Today i am not able to speak on phone, totally avoiding? what is this happening? this is because of anti-depressents medicines or time or another thing that i dont know?
18. anything more if u want to suggest to me for improving my condition, get rid of medicines and more confident in speech.

1. But my doctor is saying that daxid is main medicine is for me. i think, he will not change this, might be he can change any supplement.
2. As you told that i am having stammering due to social anxiety. how this is social anxiety. I am not able to speak to my own friends because words are not coming from inside. i am more confident to those, to whom not able to speak. i dont think, this is social anxiety.
3. today i can say i dont have stammering instead of speaking problem. i believe stammering is different from my condition. simply i am forcing myself to speak out and throw words, that is not coming from inside.
4. as i remember, when i was nexito 20 -15 mg,in XXXXXXX i was not much speaking problem, because i was very comfortable to those, but today not able to speak to them.
5. again this is not social anxiety, might be i am having this, but i can speak very fluent with my friends in past, but today not able to speak.
6. sometimes i think, these medicines stopped my speech inside or stopped my mind, because of that not able to speak. is this correct?
7. doctors calls me for checking after every 2 months, but no improvements in speech? i am seeing that my whole life will be passed as in same situation, because doctors said, that i should keep patience.
8. why heaviness in head or mind, means special type of heaviness, that feel anger, irritation, speech loss?
9. in last, should i change my doctor or stick to one doctor for years?
10. how much time i or anyone should give to doctor to see good results in medicines? i am with this doctor for last 8 months.
11. is this really happen, that anxiety patients pass whole life as i am passing. running here and there for last 16 years by visiting a lot of psychiatrist and tons of medicines till today.

12 or in the end, i should stop all the medicines just now.

1. My biggest problem is that speech not coming from inside. medicines work but medicines stop mind and words not coming inside. i want to speak only, whole the day i dont speak much. i sit long hours alone without talking to anyone. it seems, i want to speak but something is stopping me inside to speak. why this is happening?

2. after taking daxid, i observed that craving in mind for eating and sex stopped but no physical appitite.

3. earlier i was eating because of craving. but now craving stopped, so not eating much. and not physical appetite.

4. generally how much time anti-depressents medicines work to show positive effect? Because i am on daxid 150 mg for last 9 months.

5. is this good practice to change psychiatrist frequently, if in my case i am with this hospital for last 9 months, and there is no improvement in my speech?

6. generally how much time doctor or medicines take time to resolve patient anxiety problem.

7. i will not say that daxid not worked, it worked but why my speech lost. why so problem in speaking? is this happen in daxid case?

8. now where I should go for second opition in delhi/ncr or should I wait few months more with daxid? Because I want to cure asap and improve my speech
9. I am taking finasteride 1 mg one tablet per day for hair loss with this anti-depressents medicines. Is it safe? Will it not create any sexual or any side effect?
10. till I am taking luramax 20 mg, I feel un-useful and unnecessary dreams in night, even whole night sleep. Is this normal? What I should do?
11. anti-depressants medicines really work in speech and fluency blockage? Because I feel so blockage in my speech?
12. how long I have to take these medicines? Because again I don’t want to dependent on this.
13. if I use high potency of any anti-depressents to cure this problem asap as per doctor also, can it cure speech problem soon? Because in my case, doctor prescribed me 200 mg daxid, but after taking 200 mg, my speech suddenly stopped? Is this happen in other anti-depressant medicines with high dosage?
14. now doctor ask me why I want to take high potency, I tell to cure speech problem soon? Is this right approach?
