Brief Answer:
Normal cardiac changes. Relaxation necessary to reduce anxiety.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Reduced diastolic compliance is common in the elderly due to sedentary life style. This is due to ventricular chamber and myocardial stiffening. Endurance exercises like swimming, jogging or cycling could help in preventing further progression.

2. Mitral and tricuspid regurgitations are trivial, which means they are not causing any problem. No further treatment or evaluation is necessary regarding this.

3. Anxiety is the main reason for pulse rate more than 100. This has led to palpitations. You need to relax. Low dose beta blockers maybe necessary. However, life style modification with meditation and relaxation exercises will be beneficial. Your heart is functioning well.

Rarely edema may be seen in the lower limbs, and limb elevation in lying down position with two to three pillows, so that the limbs is above level of heart, will reduce the swelling.

At present, as there is no complaints, not to worry. Can continue with endurance exercises along with medications, if necessary. Avoid stress and anxiety.

You will need to take prescriptions from your doctor.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
