Suggest Treatment For An Itchy Scalp And Dandruff

Question: Hi , I am 22 years old male, i have an itchy scalp and dandruff, I also have hairfall and my scalp is now visible from sides and also from the temple. I visisted the dermatologist and he suggested me depravit lotion, scalpe+ shampoo and follihair tablets, itchy scalp is now releaved and dandruff is under control but i don't see a difference in baldness, it has been 15 days since i am taking this treatment, please advise how can I stop balding and have good hair volume, i do not have heriditery hair loss in my family. Please advjse, i am very tensed as i feel my hair are thinning

I have gone through your complaints and understand your concern.
The prescription given to you is fine.
According to your complaints you seem to be starting with male pattern baldness.
For hair loss I would recommend you to apply minoxidil 5 percent lotion on the affected areas of the scalp twice daily.
The dose is 1 ml twice daily.
It has to be continued for atleast 4-5 months to notice significant improvement.
Besides this you can continue with scalpe shampoo and follihair tablet.
