Brief Answer:
Cognitive behavioral therapy

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

The best treatment of eating disorders is cognitive behavioral therapy (administered by a psychologist) although it might need to be backed up by medications (administered by a psychiatrist).

Depending upon the gravity of the problem, hospitalization might be required. It is better than home based care but is needed in more service situations.

Answered by Dr. Diptanshu Das (3 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Yes

Detailed Answer:
Yes, eating disorders are often treated successfully. But the success is highly dependent on the will power and cooperation of the subject/patient. It is like achieving a hard target. If you are committed and persevering, you would succeed. You might have to go through hardships but you should not give up. If you have that determination, treatment of eating disorders would be rather easy.
