Question: Please help advice about what I can do next.

I've had private blood test. They have revealed that my MCV was at 100 and slightly elevated. My cortisol was high, DHEAs were high. Thyroid was fine. Blood sugar is good. Good cholesterol is good. Iron levels was fine.
My symptoms are below and I've had them come and go etc for some time.

- Vitiligo
- Premature grey hairs appear
- Can’t think clearly
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Irritability
- No sex drive
- No erections
- Sleep problems
- Mood changes
- Keep moving my legs.
- Agitation
- Obsessive
- I look pale
- Don’t like going out due to excessive worry

I have some acne at the moment with bad stress. I want all the symptoms to stop.
I’ve ordered a IF antibody test and another full blood count to see if supplementing with vitamin B complex did anything after seeing a higher MCV before.
Please advise what I do next here to get answers.

Brief Answer:
Symptoms may be due to adrenal problem, depression etc.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I have gone through your findings in detail.MCV is towards upper range.
Normal range for MCV is 80–100 fL.You can take vitamin B12 and folic acid supplementation. You should take green leafy vegetables. If you are non-vegetarian then you can take it also.
IF antibody test is rightly done.

High cortosol and DHEA need further evaluation. It may be due to adrenal problem.
You may need 24 hour urine cortisol estimation.Additionally ultrasound of abdomen,MRI Brain can be done.
High cortisol is seen in many conditions like cushing's disease, depression, liver or kidney problem etc.
Other routine investigations like liver and renal function test, urine RE/ME should be done.

You may also need psychiatric evaluation.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your query.
