Question: I have really bad acid reflux everyday due to anxiety. the doctor prescribed 10 mg paroxetine and propranolol 20 mg and propranolol seems like it adds to the acid reflux. Brief Answer:
Can take....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If you are feeling heartburn and like acid is in your throat, you can take a course of Zantac for 2 weeks. I also advise to:
- eat often and small portions
- do not lay down immediately after eating
- have your dinner at least 4 hours before going to bed
- avoid spicy/chilly/oily/fried foods
- avoid carbonated/caffeinated drinks
- take antacids

If no improvement within 2 weeks, should switch to PPIs, but you need a prescription from your doctor for that.

Hope it helped!
