Suggest Treatment For Acid Reflux And Cough

Question: I am suffering from what is known as acid reflux case & apparanety I have the one that is most difficult as I do not seem to be bothered by it (on the external or obvious indications such as cough or etc ?) Recently , I have developed strange sensations at the tip of the throats inside where my tongue can just reach -it feels like kind of scratched and am not sure if this is from acid reflux, a virus (possibly due to viral infection ) or something else ? I visited 2 GP's recently (one of which is also ENT ) and they could se nothing but I am not convinced . I also have some irritations on my right side of the belly that am not sure is relevant or not this phenomena . Its worth mentioning that i'm on 20 MG pariott a day for the last year or so .

I have gone through your query carefully and understood your concern.

The scratchy sensations in your throat is likely be due to a viral cause(cold related)

I strongly believe that the ENT physician would easily have ruled out the acid reflux as he could easily see few changes in the throat region like ulcers,inflammation in case if its present..

Those sensations probably will resolve on its own..Just observe..Do saline water gargling and antibiotics may be considered if you develop fever,cough etc..
