Question: Hi,
I'm XXXXXXX I'm 30 week pregnant now and my baby bump seems really big. From the last week it's hurting at the top of the bump even when I touch it can you please suggest what could be the reason behind that.
It's a single baby in the womb.
Placenta is anterior.
Please suggest.

Hi,

It is not uncommon to notice drastic increase in the abdomen (belly size) in the last trimester of pregnancy. However as its hurting you, it is important that we check local cause first. Chances of this being related directly to pregnancy are poor. So don't be concerned.
But to help me understand the problem better, please check and let me know if you find any other symptoms besides tenderness. Do you fine any skin color changes? Is there a discrete bump noticed? You may send a picture if necessary and if that's ok.
