Brief Answer:
A few successful approaches

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Persistent genital arousal disorder (PGAD) has various approaches to treat it and I would sincerely urge you to consider them all, as from my experience with a few patients, a cumulative effect was what best worked.

The approaches include the following:

+Ice packs to the genitalia to be applied for a minute every 5 minutes or lesser that would help reduce or suppress the symptoms
+Various anesthetizing agents that can be applied to the genital region (only after testing for allergic reactions)
+If you are on any medications, then please go through them with your doctor to see if any of them are causing an increased sensitivity in the genital region
+Counseling: Psychotherapy helps to cope with the symptoms and also help distract the individual when symptoms do appear
+Physiotherapy: There are various exercises that can help provide more control over the pelvic muscles and floor, so please do visit a physiotherapist as well

I understand this can be frustrating and for now please do use the anesthetics and ice packs, but the physiotherapy and psychotherapy should be considered. I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
