Brief Answer:
Lifestyle modification is the first management

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
PCOD is a disorder which is associated with irregular ovulation and hence irregular and delayed periods.
First step in the management of PCOD is lifestyle modification, exercise and wight loss.Reduction of even 5 % weight leads to normalization of hormones and hence resumption of menstrual cycles normally.
It is advisable to wait for 2 months (or 45-60 days) and if you don't get periods in that time, then you can take deviry for withdrawal bleeding.
APCOD XXXXXXX contains myoinositol, which is generally given in patient of PCOD with infertility. However, it is not recommended for cycle regulation in PCOD.

Hi,

Thank you so much for the answer.

So do you suggest to take only deviry if am not getting my cycle for 2 months, along with the modifications in my life style. Also my sister who gave birth recently for twin babies also have the same issue before she got conceived. She suggested me not to take any hormones. Is she right??

Brief Answer:
Hormones can be taken when needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
You should take Deviry only if you don't get your periods in 2 months.
You should try to loose weight, as weight loss will help you improve your hormonal profile and hence regulate the periods.
Hormones can be taken when needed, but should not be taken frequently.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Brief Answer:
Diet plan given

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
You should a diet consisting of fibres and proteins like sprouts, vegetables, fruits, skimmed milk and less of carbohydrates like sugar, cereals and less of fats. You should avoid heavy meals at a time.
1. You should take deviry for 5 days to induce withdrawal bleeding.
2. Diet plan which I suggest for you:
Breakfast: 2 chapati/toast with vegetables or upma or poha or 1 bowl of sprouts
11 AM: 1 fruit with 1 glass milk
1 PM: lunch- 2 chapati with vegetables, salad and one cup curd
5PM- tea
9 PM- dinner : similar as lunch, can include pulses
3. You can very well marry. PCOD consists of irregular periods and increased chances of difficulty in conception.
However, if treated properly, all the problems can be taken care of and there is no problem in getting married with PCOS.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
