Suggest Treatment For HSV Encephalitis

Question: eptoin 100 mg @ 1 morning and 2 evening is prescribed for my wife's treatment who has just discharged from hospital for the diagnosis HSC Encephalitis. Is the medicine is correct and till what time she has to take it.
How much time it will take to Cure the diseases and patient in normal state.
The Diagnosis is HSV Encephalitis Not HSCEncephalitis. Please correct
