Suggest Treatment For HPV Infection
Question: why after 28 or so years of normal paps every year, and only 3 sexual partners, (1, my now husband since 1992 and I have been faithful) ~ 5 vaginal deliveries normal healthy children thank God.. ~ why am I supposed to believe that I did not get this from my husband recently? 3 Drs give 3 different personal opinions.. 2 of them admitting to me that is is an unusually long time for this HPV 16 to present and maybe infidelity .. .Ive had 2 colps, and a Leep.. Ive had normal results in the last 2 years, and Im thankful but find it difficult to accept his denial of being unfaithful in the last 23 years of our marriage. so I got it in the late 80's and its just emerging now? Please help me understand, as we are now going to see our Pastor to talk about all of this.. I think the Drs views ~ because they differ, cause me to be suspicious.. one was an Oncologist at U of Pennsylvania .. I have great respect for Drs.

3) Your partner can be infected with HPV virus without any outside sexual contact( means if you have this infection it does not mean that you have cheated your partner).
4) It is very difficult to diagnose it from where you get this infection.
5) It is not same as HIV And herpes infection.
6) you can get it from your husband also.
So please make your husband understand you and know the fact about HPV infection.

oh..Im sorry I just wanted to clarify.. it is me who is questioning my husband.. I know I have not gone outside the marriage. so Im wondering why in all those years is it showing up.. after asking him im wondering if I should suspect that he went outside the marriage .. the time span seems so very long with normal paps and no actual warts or anything. thank You Dr XXXXXXX
he insists he did not go outside our marriage but im having a hard time accepting someone all of a sudden having a CIN3 dysplasia and then 3 procedures in less than a year, after normal paps since the age of 18.. thank you
