Brief Answer: Antibiotic treatment for chronic gonorrhea... Detailed Answer: Hi there, I have gone through your medical history and feel sorry for the situation you are in. Gonorrhea is an STDs that can be completely treated at its early stages. If not, chronic and sever problems can occur. To completely confirm what you are experiencing is due to chronic gonorrhea, I suggest to culture penis discharge or urethral swab and run sensitivity testing. This lab test will determine if you have gonorrhea and the antibiotics of higher sensitivity. To my experience, I have been treating my patients with a combination therapy: Penicillin (the first 3 days i.v.; followed by other 3 days i.m) + azythromycin (orally for 7 days). As you might have taken many courses of antibiotics, I'd suggest to start anti-fungal therapy too. Hope it was of help! Let me know if I can assist you further! Dr.Albana

did you understand my information well. It was since 1995 in Ethiopia I have get sexual disease problem after I make sexual intercourse with my girl friend. Unfortunately after few days my penis get pain for urine and get mucus. So, I go to one clinic then he give the medicine but I don't remember the type of the medicine he gave me. It was not treated then I go to another doctor he said 'you take time'. I was not go in short period. Then he ordered a medicine. I used the medicine and it was not totally stop. So I go to doctors more than three times in Ethiopia. It was not clearly cured. After receiving different tablet (medicine) after 2 or 3 years again and again the pain comes. How can I cure ?

Brief Answer: Physical&lab evaluations are needed... Detailed Answer: Hi back, Thank you for your clarifications. I have gone through all your further details carefully. If I was your caring doctor, I would: - evaluate your health status further - ask to run further tests to determine the specific antibiotic to use Depending on the damages caused and symptoms you have, and tests results, I'd prescribe the right antibiotic. Protected sex is also highly advised to prevent infecting your sexual partners. All the best! Let me know if I can assist you further!
