Brief Answer: REPORTS NOT CLEAR. Detailed Answer: Good evening XXXXXXX I will try and be as prompt as possible. I understand your anxiety and apprehension. Unfortunately, all the reports uploaded by you are blurred. Either the camera shook while taking the pictures or there is some issue. Can you please upload them in a better manner, so I can read the fine print and the figures ? Take care.

Brief Answer: EXPLAINED BELOW Detailed Answer: I have gone through the reports. Firstly, the ultrasound you had earlier was abdominal scan. Such scans are NEVER clear or reliable. Based on an abdominal ultrasound, it was wrong to provide you with Methotrexate. Yes it is entirely possible that there was no ectopic pregnancy. YOu had a medical abortion, following which it takes time for B HCG values to normalize. The strip test might be positive for even a month, it is not to be used to determine if the abortion was complete. ONly ultrasound will tell that. The uterine cavity was empty in the first scan. As evidenced by serial B HCG measurements, the values are falling , so dont worry. To clear the confusion of the ectopic pregnancy once and for all, I urge you to get a pelvic ultrasound scan done in expert hands. The second doctor has mentioned on paper that the scan is normal, but I cannot see the report of the second scan. Either send it across or repeat the scan, thereby your confusion will be over. I can see no need for a laparoscopy in any case.
