Question: Hi Doctor,
My mother for the past two days seems to have a vaginal infection.White discharge is found which causes itchiness but no odour. Can u pls suggest appropriate medicines

Your mother is having white discharge with itching which indicates that she might be suffering from a local infection, due to bacteria, candida or trichomonas and rarely something else.
She should get a gram stain and culture of the discharge before taking any treatment and as soon as possible for a conclusive diagnosis.
The Ciprofloxacin and tinidazole combination and vaginal tablets of clotrimazole can be helpful in supervision of your Gynecologist, the doses she would know.
